STEP ONE The Setup

You can expect us to confirm the job a week before and turn up when scheduled. Large furniture items are moved to the centre of the room and covered with polythene.

Floors are covered with polythene and dustsheets. The job sheet colour scheme is checked with the customer.

STEP TWO The Preparation

All existing wall and ceiling coverings are stripped as required. All woodwork surfaces are properly filled and rubbed down prior to any painting.

Plaster surfaces will be filled and rubbed down prior to any painting or paper hanging. Gaps in the woodwork are caulked. Plaster surfaces are sealed with PVA adhesive.

Lining or embossed paper is applied where required.

We will use top quality materials and will hang paper to the manufacturers specifications. All woodwork will be undercoated before any finish coat is applied.

100% coverage checks carried out on all painted areas. Clean cutting in lines are checked.

Floors and carpets are thoroughly vacuumed. Furniture will be moved back to original positions. All rubbish will be removed from site. Touch up paint is labelled and given to the customer.

STEP FIVE The Inspection

Before the crew packs up their equipment, the painter in charge will ask the customer to inspect the work and ensure that all the contracted areas are finished properly.

A snag sheet is filled in and checked off. The customer will be asked to sign a completion sheet when satisfied.

Choose your wall coverings and fabrics in the comfort of your own home from our range of exquisite English and Italian pattern books. Wallpaper should only be selected in your own home as colours may vary in different lighting, even patterns may appear different.
